Özet: Aim: The frequency of ABO and Rh blood groups were evaluated from blood donors in the “Blood Bank of Kizilay” in Sanliurfa from 1995 to 1999. Method: Data were retrospectively collected from healthy 28944 blood donors in living region to donate the Blood Bank of Kizilay in Sanliurfa. The frequency of ABO and Rh blood groups were analyzed. Results: At the end of the analyses, the total frequency of A, O, B and AB groups were 36.38%, 34.69%, 21.25% and 7.68%, respectively. In addition, the mean frequency of Rh groups were 90.79% positive and 9.21% negative. Conclusion: Profiles of ABO and Rh blood groups in Sanliurfa resemble the mean values of Southeast Anatolian region
