Özet: Rheumatic heart diseases followin Acut Rheumatic Fewer is stil an important health problem especially in growing countries. Mitral valve is affected in most cases of rheumatic heart diseases. Mitral stenosis is the mostly encountered entity. Nowadays in mitral stenosis thereapy percutaneous valvuloplasty technic (Percutaneous Transvenous Mitral Commisurotomy) in this patient group is an important therapy choice. This technique is less invasive because it needs to be done in such patients is a priority. In this study we intended to present a case report, 32 years old woman with advanced mitral stenosis during percutaneous valvuloplasty left atrium was injured and emergent surgical correction was applied.
