Özet: In this study, some properties of fresh and hardened concrete produced using air entraining additive were investigated. Together with control concrete five different mixtures were prepared with the addition of air entraining additive of 0.025%, 0.050%, 0.075% and 0.1% of cement weight with keeping the cement amount and water-cement ratio constant. Experiments were carried out to measure the unit volume weights, flow diameters, air contents of fresh concretes and density, ultrasonic pulse velocity, thermal conductivity coefficient of hardened concretes. The use of air entraining additives caused a decrease in the unit volume weight, ultrasonic pulse velocity and thermal conductivity coefficient values of the samples. Lightweight concrete was possible to produce using 0.075% and 0.1% air entraining additive.
