Özet: This study is aimed to analyze the working capital of the cement sector in the Istanbul Stock Exchange. In the study, working capital is analyzed in basis of the entire sector and companies in the sector, respectively. In this sense, the scope of working capital analysis consists of Calculation of working capital and ratios of current asset, fixed assets, short-term liabilities, long-term liabilities and shareholders’ equity to the total assets for the years 2002 to 2007. Movements in current assets and short-term liabilities which cause changes in working capital are just examined in basis the entire sector and all results are explained
