Özet: The European Credit system for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET) is the new European tool to promote mobility and mutual trust in vocational education and training (VET). It is developed and even developing by Member States in cooperation with the European Commission, ECVET has been adopted by the European Parliament and the European Council in 2009. The adoption and implementation process of the ECVET in the participating countries is voluntarily not compulsory. Currently, the participating countries such as Turkey and the European Commission support a Europe-wide testing of this instrument to which all stakeholders have been invited to participate. This paper is aiming to analyse the existing ECVET systems in Partner Countries (Turkey, Germany, Greece, Bulgaria and Portugal) under the Development and Test of Modular ECVET System in Europe project-MECVET
