Özet: Performance evaluation in recent years, is one of the issues highlighted in both the public and private sectors often. The current developments particularly in the areas of organization and management has brought to the fore the performance evaluation system. Performance evaluation is one of the most technical and complex aspects of human resources management. Editing of both system implementation requires a human resources department and better equipped professionals. In this study, the concept of human resources, business and the importance and benefits, performance appraisal systems, performance objectives and importance of evaluation, application areas and clarify such matters. Performance evaluation of public and private institutions in Azerbaijan was investigated how it's implemented. Structural characteristics of companies with this research, we aimed to determine the relationship between the drying effects of performance evaluation criteria and performance evaluation techniques. In the research, operating in Baku in Azerbaijan province, it was taken as a basis for public bodies and private institutions with domestic and foreign capital. 5 states listed and traded on a survey of 14 private companies have been made.
