Özet: November 2000 crisis adversely affected Turkey's economy, particularly the banking sector. The economy was faced with a new crisis in February 2001 with the process can not be well managed. 2001 crisis and negative developments in the banking sector has led to a further increase of the installed cost economy. Economic and financial policies implemented after 2001 crisis is the basis of macroeconomic performance of Turkey Economy last fifteen years . In this study, the criteria that determine the macroeconomic performance for the past fifteen years the economy of Turkey will be assessed according to the gross domestic product, The gross domestic product per capita, growth rate, inflation rate, unemployment rate, index of economic discontent, the current account deficit, budget deficit. In this study, it will be also discussed the overall assessment and recommendations on macroeconomic performance of Turkey's economy
