Özet: Strategic management is one of the concepts that gained importance in the management sciences in recent years and began to be applied in the public sector in the course of time as well, after being applied in the private sector and it played a key role in the restructuring of the public sector in many countries. Strategic management concept has gained importance in the Turkish public sector in parallel to the developments in the world as well and has began to be applied by the public sector. The aim of the study is to measure the perception of strategic planning in public schools of Bahçelievler district. In the study, Strategic Planning Perception surveys were carried out.In the results of the analysis of the obtained findings from the survey, it has identified that educators have low levels of strategic perception and the perception of differences in strategic planning according to demographic and occupational properties.
