Özet: Child abuse is a multidiciplined subject that has to be evaluated from a wide perspective. Child abuse can be perceived differently in societies and cultures. This concept is in direct relation with the value given to humanbeings. Child abuse is an exposure to inappropriate behaviours of adults within a certain amount of time. These inappropriate bahaviours may damage a child’s pychological and physical unity. Child abuse not only includes a child’s physical, emotional, sexual and economic abuse but also includes neglect of the child as well.
