Özet: Today, there are social fractures on global studies regarding the sustainability of university museums. The adaptation issues of these museums to recent technological-based transformations affect the introduction of sustainable museum projects. Rapid changes of information technologies have required the planning of management systems of university museums, and carried museum strategic studies into different and new aspects. This study aimed to examine the studies of university museums through the existing strategic plans of Manchester University Museum. The Manchester Museum is a part of Manchester University, and the origins of the Manchester Museum lie in the collection of the Manchester collector John Leigh Philips. Today, the Manchester University Museum maintains the sustainability of the collection of human and nature history through the 2025 strategic planning studies. Besides the strategic plans regarding the innovative and experienced-ba- sed objectives of the museum, plans valuing for multidisciplinary work cooperatives are also developed. Valuable resources of the university museum are defined as the objectives of management work under the arguments of values, quality, accessi- bility, cooperativeness, establishing curiosity and taking responsibility. To conclude, changing university museums need sustainable projects and strategic plans to make plans of their future. The- refore, this change should be well-planned and well-adapted to the museums’ corporate structure. Well-planned sustainable studies will be possible with a coincide of expert staff and implementation of a corporate confidence policy.
