Özet: In this research, it was aimed to investigate the effect of having musical creative drama education on self-confidence of preschool children. Research was carried out with four- and five-years old children having education at Çorum Güneş Kreş in academic year of 2019-2020. 25 students at the age of four and 25 students at the age of five, 50 students in total have been studied. Data of the research were obtained by Günalp self-confidence observation test which is generally applied to preschool children. At the end of the 10 weeks of test period, the effect of musical creative drama education on self-confidence of preschool children was examined. SPSS 23 package program was used to analyze the data of self-confidence status before and after musical creative drama education. As a result of the research, it was observed that musical creative drama studies generated a significant self-confidence improvement for students. It was determined that musical creative drama education had a positive effect on self-confidence of preschool children.
