Özet: Land consolidation in Turkey can be carried out through the mandatory and the optional methods. The optional method can be implemented depending on whether the majority of landowners request or approve consolidation. Producer organizations have a great importance in ensuring that producers can organize for the purpose of consolidation. In this study, it is aimed to determine the effect of producer organizations in ensuring participation in land consolidation. For this purpose, a survey was conducted with 346 producers from 19 settlements where land consolidation was carried out in Çanakkale. Within the scope of the research, the relationship between producers' attitudes towards participation in consolidation and their communication frequency with agricultural organizations and whether they are in the management of any agricultural organization was investigated. According to the results of the research, a statistically significant relationship was not be found between the producers' state of being in the management of an agricultural organization and their frequency of communication with cooperatives and their attitudes towards participation in consolidation. According to the findings, it is recommended to carry out extension trainings on the benefits of consolidation on the basis of agricultural organizations
