Özet: XX. century is a period when new writing methods emerged in literature. One of the foremost methods that emerged is the stream of consciousness in which the character’s instant thoughts are conveyed without any concern for any rules or logic. With this method, the past, the future and the present are intertwined and changes have been experienced in the time line of the text. In this study, it was determined that the stream of consciousness was applied in the narrative of I’m Thinking of Ending Things (Charlie Kaufman, 2020) and made changes in the determination of the time line in the film. This method used in the film is explained within the framework of Henri Bergson's concepts of time and William James' consciousness, thus the use of the stream of consciousness in a film narrative is exemplified. As a result, it is emphasized that the stream of consciousness can be provided in images other than words and this greatly differentiates timeline in the film.
