Özet: Cerebral palsy (CP) is a type of muscle activity problem that causes movement restriction due to non-progressive damage to the brain. Failure of this muscle activity to work normally causes permanent movement and posture development disorder. The walking possibilities of children exposed to this disease vary depending on the motor development process. Physical therapy and rehabilitation are accepted as a basic treatment method to protect and improve the motor functions of the body. Therefore, physical therapy and rehabilitation play a central role in the treatment of children with CP. Robotic walkers designed for patients with low muscle activity can increase functional muscle strength, balance, walking speed, endurance and functional gait performance. Thus, the mechanical walker mechanisms used provide strengthening of muscle coordination by providing lower extremity control for children with CP, and also allow them to improve their quality of life. The aim of this study is to simulate the design of a robotic walker to support body movements and muscle coordination to improve gait disturbance due to CP, for physical therapy and rehabilitation. For this purpose, it is aimed to perform walking process with a walker supported by robotic system. Here, the visual simulation of the system was realized with Unity 3D game engine in order to enable the system to perceive the movement of the child in advance, to activate the servo motor system and to provide a controlled walking. The algorithm was developed for the data set obtained from the simulation and the patient's movements were monitored in a virtual environment. With this monitoring, the most appropriate motion-time positioning is performed instantly.
