Özet: Interest in the concept of burnout has been rising in recent years, particularly among the researchers in the field of tourism. The main reason for this increase is that tourism sector is a constructively difficult sector. However, there has not been any research that reveals the premises and consequences of burnout in tourism enterprises as a whole. In this respect, the main purpose of this research is to find out the premises and consequences of burnout among employees in the tourism business. In addition, presenting model proposals for future research on the concept of burnout is also among the objectives of the study. With this research, the premises and consequences of burnout within the scope of tourism enterprises were revealed in detail. In addition, two different burnout model proposals have been presented for future research with this research. Finally, it is thought that the research will provide a broad on the concept of burnout.
