The impact of personality traits on entrepreneurial intentions of the Indonesian wound care clinicians

Özet: Entrepreneurs become the foundation for a stable economic recovery. The health sector, especially nursing, can be transformed to be more innovative base on personal characteristics. The purpose of this study is to identify the influence of individual traits (locus of control, need for achievement, creativity & risk-taking) on entrepreneurial intentions in wound care clinicians in Indonesia. This study applied a cross-sectional survey design with 205 Wound Care Clinician in Indonesia and analysis using SmartPLS Version 3.0.  This research shows correlation and influence between the variables a direct need for achievement and creativity on entrepreneur intention, while locus of control and risk-taking are indirect. This study's results serve as a reference for wound care clinicians in making decisions to build their own business in nursing
