Özet: A total of 42 integrated poultry (Broiler) farms were visited and surveys were administered to the owners at the aim of thesis work. Information about existing situation of integrated broiler farms was evaluated. Approximately 64.3% of enterprises were companies and 35.7 % of them were family type farms. The numbers of broiler that enterprises have were less than 10,000 (16.7%), between 10,000 and 30,000 (38.1%), between 30,000 and 50,000 (16.7%), between 50,000 and 100,000 (19%) with 100,000 and above (9.5%). Broiler houses visited were mostly used hybrid chicks of foreign origin and in general, mortality was around 3- 4 % for each period. The stocking density of broilers were 20-25 birds/square meter (52.4%) and 16-19 birds/square meter (47.6%), during a fattening period, the amount of feed intake for a broiler were 3.6-4.2 kg in general and the average live weight was 1.9-2.3 kg at 45 days of age. Only 3 of enterprises produce feed themselves among enterprises studied. Six operations buy feed from the outside (feed-milling companies) and thirty-three of them work based on the contract with manufacturing business. At 95.28% of the farms, animals were fed with the automated system. Fattening performance criteria were live weight at the end of fattening period and feed conversion ratio (FCR) at all of the farms visited. Marketing of meat material was based on the contract with integrated facilities at 92.85% of enterprises. All of the enterprises have between 4 to 6 production cycle per year. It was noted that the most important problem of all the farms at different provinces visited were feed cost, cost of input, fluctuation at product prices throughout the year and price instability. In conclusion, when it is looked at the overall state of enterprises, the broiler enterprises at provinces evaluated are growing steadily, education levels of business owners is improving and therefore, the use of information and technology trends is improving, the current condition of animal shelter is generally in good condition.
