Özet: In this study, it was aimed to analyze the recreational tendencies of Bingöl University students, the adequacy of the recreational activities of the campus area according to the wishes of the individuals and the recreational demands. For this purpose, one of the most reliable questionnaires was applied to reach the results. It was applied on a total of 222 randomly selected students among the students studying in the spring semester of 2018. The analysis of the study was evaluated in SPSS 17.0 program and the results were summarized in tables and graphs. According to the research findings; It was determined that 69.4% of the students participating in the survey participated in recreational activities as a small group of friends. While the rate of students who do not spend time on campus on weekdays is 43%, this rate is 87% on weekends. 55% of the students stated that they could not meet their recreational needs on the campus by giving reasons at a rate of 52.9% "not having different activity opportunities". As a result, students stated that there is not enough facilities for recreational activities in the campus area. Considering the results obtained, various suggestions and ideas were put forward by considering that the study will shed light on the future campus outdoor planning of the developing Bingöl University.
