Özet: Abstract At the beginning of the commentaries of our commentators who have written tafsir throughout the history of Islam, we can see that they explain the motions they have seen in these commentaries in a short or detailed way. Iqi, who is himself a Shafi'i phakhi and Eş'arî theologian, also has a precious work of excellence. He has elaborated on the procedural and main principles he followed in his commentary in his book Mukaddime, the famous tafsirî which is still in writing in the libraries. We can see that the valuable scholars who have worked on his exegesis later touch on this point. As will be seen below, we will examine the work done by Iqî on both Muqaddim and Tafsir. Sources of tafsirin; a- Those who come from the selef-i sâlih, b- We will divide them into written sources and take them together with their examples.
