Özet: The article discusses the current energy cooperation between Russia and Turkey. Factors necessitating bilateral relations in the field of energy, directions and priorities of Turkish and Russian energy policy were studied. Existing energy projects between Russia and Turkey, their prospects and interdependence were studied. In general, the study shows that although there are differences between Turkey and Russia on certain regional issues, the two countries are considered strategic partners in economic and energy cooperation. Although Turkey is partially dependent on Russia for oil imports, it is more dependent on gas imports and exports. Turkey also intends to develop local energy sources and reduce this dependence. Therefore, Turkey closely cooperates with Russia in the field of nuclear energy. Turkey is considered the safest and most reliable partner for the transportation of Russian gas to Europe, bypassing Ukraine and Belarus. Turkey acts as both a transit and a supplier in energy cooperation between the two countries. The interdependence of energy requires a dialogue between the two countries on the settlement and settlement of regional conflicts.
