Özet: In this study, usage of parametric and nonparametric post hoc tests was explained. Use of parametric tests is statistically important in point of power of the test. So after parametric tests, group means were compared by parametric post hoc tests. In this study, Least Significant Difference, Duncan, Tukey (a), Student Newman Keuls, Linear Contrasts, Bonferroni, Scheffe and Dunnet Methods were examined. Traditionally, nonparametric tests were used instead of parametric tests, if assumptions of parametric tests not ensured. For this aim, Hollander-Wolfe, Nonparametrik Dunn’s, nonparametric Dunnet, nonparametric S-N-K (Student-Newman-Keuls) and nonparametric Tukey HSD methods were examined as nonparametric post hoc test. However, some research findings argued that after nonparametric tests, parametric post hoc tests can be used.
