Özet: The article involves in Azerbaijan-Uzbek literary relations in the context of the creativity of Alishir Navai. It is noted that the creativity of each master should be researched in the background of predecessor-follower relations. Because value of the master is measured by his influence on the development of literature created after him. The Azerbaijani literature has a great role in growing Navai as a master. It is known Navai also occupies a place as a master who wrote an equivalent of “Khamsa” by Nizami in in Chagatai turkish. As Navai benefited from the Azerbaijani literature, Navai's influence in Azerbaijani literature was strong in the following period. It is not accidental Navai’s creativity is a special stage in the history of Azerbaijan-Uzbek literary relations. As some masters, Navai’s influence is also strong in Fuzuli’s creativity and Navai’s influence appears in Fuzuli’s creativity in different ways. The relations of predecessor-follower between both of them are observed both in lyrical and epic branch. Fuzuli had written his some lyrical poems as an imitative poem under the influence of Navai’s ghazals. At the same time, there are similarities between the poem “Leyli and Majnun” by both poets that it points predecessor-follower relations between them. The article proves the affinity between Navai and Fuzuli’s creativity on the basis of concrete examples. As a result it is showed that the Azerbaijan-Uzbek literary relations don’t limit with the influence of Fuzuli’s creativity on the Uzbek literature. It should be studied the influence of Navai to Azerbaijan, as well as on Fuzuli’s heritage, and predecessor-follower relations in both poets’ creative work should become an object of research.
