Özet: ku In this study, we tried to analyze Kilama Pepûgî (2000), the first Kirmanckî (zazakî) novel. This study consists of introduction and three parts. In the introduction, we focused on the origin of the novel and how the novel emerged in eastern literature, particularly in Kurdish literature. Modernism and nationalism have an impact on the novel. Therefore, in the first part, we focused on the influence of modernism, nationalism and folklore on the novel. In particular, we wanted to show how these concepts had an impact on this first novel. Since Kilama Pepûgî is a historical novel, in the second part, we focused on the concept of historical novel and tried to analyze this novel as a historical novel. In the last part, we tried to analyze this novel in terms of the elements of the novel. Because many early novels are technically problematic and are far from literary quality. We tried to show how these technical elements are used in Kilama Pepûgî. Since Kilama Pepûgî is both a novel of a period and first novel, we made our analysis and criticism considering the conditions of that period and publication date of the novel. In other words, we tried to approach the work by considering the author-work-period relationship. We added a list of novels published in Kirmanckî at the end of the study because we wanted it to give an idea to the readers. In other words, we have added the list of novels written in Kirmanckî and translated into Kirmanckî to the end of this study within twenty years.
