Özet: The aim of this study is to investigate the environmentally friendly recreation behaviors of the participants visiting the Black Sea Region through cultural tours. In addition, the relationship between participants' demographic characteristics and environmentally friendly recreation behaviors. In the scope of the research, face to face questionnaires were applied to 427 participants. SPSS and Amos statistical programs were used in the analysis of the data. According to the results of the research, the expression that individuals reflect the most positive opinion is that “I have an idea about what kind of behaviors affect the natural environment”. The expression that individuals reflect the least positive opinion is the expression that “I prefer nature-based recreational activities or ecotourism activities”. There was no relationship between gender and marital status of participants and environmentally friendly recreation behaviors. There was a significant relationship between education, income and age ranges. It was determined that the participants with medium income perception exhibited more environmentally sensitive behaviors than the participants with very high income levels. It was found that the participants with age below 18 had less environmentally friendly behaviors than the other age ranges and those with age range of 65 and above behaved more sensitive to the environment than the ages below 18, 18-24 and 25-34. Finally, it was found that the participants whose education level was primary education exhibited lower eco-friendly recreation behavior than the participants with other education levels. In addition, it was determined that the participants who have master's or doctorate degrees also exhibit a higher level of environmental behavior than the other graduates except for the undergraduate ones.
