Özet: The aim of this study was to assesment of healthy lifestyle behaviors (HLB) of reproductive, pregnant and postpartum women. This cross-sectional study was conducted on 474 women (reproductive age=158; pregnant=158; postpartum=158) who applied to Lüleburgaz State Hospital and Lüleburgaz Center 70.Yil Cumhuriyet No 1 and No. 2 Family Health Centers between September 2015 and July 2016. Data were collected using the personal characteristics and Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile-II (HPLP-II). One Way Analysis of Variance (Tukey’s test), Kruskal Wallis test, Chi-square test and Bonferroni corrected Dunn tests (post hoc test) were used to investigate. The mean BMI of n=474 women included in the study was found to be 24.2 ± 4.6 in pregnant women, 27.3 ± 5.3 in pregnant women and 26.1 ± 4.6 in postpartum women (p<0.001). Of the reproductive age women (36.7%) were found to be more smokers than pregnant women (13.3%) and postpartum women (22.2%) (p <0.001). Of the reproductive age women (7.0%) were found to use more alcohol than pregnant (0.6%) and postpartum period (3.8%) women (p=0.013). The total mean scores were good of HPLP-II in reproductive, pregnant and postpartum women and there was no significant difference between them (p=0.364). Of the groups was found a significant difference between the mean scores of subscales of “health responsibility” (p=0.006), “physical activity” (p=0.013), “spiritual development” (p=0.042), and “stress management ” (p=0.009). As a result; reproductive age women are close to being overweight. BKI increases with weight gain during pregnancy. Overweight also persists in the postpartum period. Of reproductive age women use more cigarettes and alcohol than pregnant and postpartum women. Pregnant and postpartum women have good health responsibilities, reproductive age moderate physical activities, and pregnant women good stress management. Health professionals it should provide healthy lifestyle education and counseling services to women of reproductive age, pregnancy and postpartum period.
