Özet: Inflammatory bowel diseases is a chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, which is not known exactly why many factors such as genetics, environmental and immune system are held responsible. It is important to have a high level of drug compliance in order to increase the incidence and prevalence of inflammatory bowel diseases worldwide day by day, to be chronic and to require life-long drug use, to prevent relapses and to ensure remission. The aim of this review is to examine the relationship between drug compliance and quality of life in individuals with inflammatory bowel diseases. Nurses, who are health professionals, can help improve the quality of life of the patients by helping to increase drug compliance of the patients with team collaboration.
