Özet: In parallel with the socio-economic and technological developments, rational solutions were sought in construction systems and prefabricated construction systems emerged finally industrialization. Developments in prefabricated construction systems have increased the need for regulations, standard and technical specifications related to this subject, and encouraged many experimental and theoretical types of research. While reinforced concrete prefabricated systems are at high levels in developed countries, our country is well below these levels. The ratio of prefabricated production to the number of people is 0,38 m3/person in European countries and 0,02 m3/person in our country. This study summarized the situation in Turkey and world reinforced concrete prefabrication; evaluations were made in Turkey for the use of prefabrication. Also, the effects of economic growth and construction volume on prefabricated construction systems were analyzed through sector reports. In the study the prefabrication of the structures produced in Turkey generally focus on building infrastructure and industry, but it is seen that the largest share of the production of housing should be spread.
