Özet: This article discusses the sinicization of the Qing State and the transformation of Qing institutions within the framework of Ibn Khaldun's concept of asabiyyah and the approach of cyclical history. In various discussions on this subject, it is seen that the concepts in Ibn Khaldun's theory has been analyzed incompletely and misunderstood. Accordingly, we will firstly address the concepts in Ibn Khaldun's political theory and the approach of cyclical history. We will explain the Manchu identity and the Eight Banners within the framework of Ibn Khaldun's concept of asabiyyah, and then we will discuss the sinicization of the Qing State in the context of Ibn Khaldun's theory and approach of cyclical history.
