Özet: Signet ring cell gastric carcinoma is extremely rare during childhood. One of the most important problems in these patients is nutritional difficulty and impairment, and these patients are often supported by total parenteral nutrition. Herein, the authors report a case of Wernicke encephalopathy due to prolonged total parenteral nutrition in a 13-year-old girl with diffuse gastric cancer with signet ring cell.
