Özet: This article investigates the military campaign of the Republicof Armenia against the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1918-1920,and the massacres of the Azerbaijani Turkic population on the territoriesof Azerbaijan Democratic Republic as documented by the Britishdiplomats of the time. Within this framework, it examines the reports ofthe diplomats, who were involved in the formulation of the British policytowards South Caucasus in 1918-1920. It can be seen that thesedocuments are of great significance for revealing the massacres againstthe Azerbaijani Turkic people between 1918 and 1920 by armedArmenian gangs with the connivance and direct support of thegovernment of the Republic of Armenian. Furthermore, these documentsconclusively help to determine the scale of the massacres conducted bythe Armenian forces against the Azerbaijani Turkic population in theseyears
