Özet: 69 snuff-box, 39 modified Brescia-Cimino radiocephalic, 18 brachiocephalic, totally 126 arteriovenous fistulas were performed in 114 patients whom chronic renal failure were diagnosed and needed hemodialysis at the General Surgery Department of Ankara University Medical School in the period of nine months and short term results tor four weeks, our experiences and choises were reported. The patency rates of the techniques were % 82.6, % 92.3, % 100 in snuff-box, radioencephalic, brachiocephalic, respectively. Although the patency rate was lower than the others, our first choice is snuff-box fistula since it makes possible to perform the other procedures in failure of the method.
