Özet: Ren al arte riovenous fistula following nephrectomy is a rare complicati on. Although renal biopsy is the most common cause of renal arteriovenous fistula, the formation o a fistula between the renal artery and the renal vein following nephrectomy can be seen. The use of mass ligation of the renal p edicle, especially with suture ligatures, predisposes a patient to this complication. These fistula s are typically large, producing congestiv e heart failure and other cardi ovascular manifestations. The patient was a 40-year-old woman having tachycardia, left ventricular hypertrophy and moderate hypertension. An arteri ovenous fistul a was seen at renal angiog raphi c study (figure 1). On contrast computed tomography was seen that th e aneur ism was calcified (figu re 2). We ligated right renal artery proximal to the aorta and discharged the patient on 10th postoperative day. in this stu dy we presented this rare case related reference books and recent literature reviews.
