Özet: Abdominal aortic aneurysm is a frequently diagnosed pathology in clinical practice. The surgical mortality rate is 2-4% for elective cases, but is 40-50% for the cases requiring emergent surgery. Exploration of the proximal neck of the aneurysm may be quite difficult in juxtarenal aneurysms. For this group of patients, division of the left renal vein may be advantageous for the proximal anastomosis. A patient operated urgently in our clinic with the dignosis of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm, and left renal renal vein division performed is revised with the literature.
