Özet: Calciphylaxis is characterized by medial calcification with intimal hyperplasia and throm- bosis of the lumen of small sized arteries. Small-artery disease with medial calcification and intimal hyperplasia can lead to life-threatening skin necrosis or gangrene of extremities. By the guidence of literatures, here we describe a patient who was being followed up with the diagnosis of calcific uremic arteriolopathy and a non healing ulcer of the extremity which finally underwent amputation.
