Özet: Hemophilia C is a bleeding disorder caused by the deficiency of the factor XI. Patients with factor XI deficiency usually require replacement therapy before undergoing a surgical procedure. We report a 13-year-old hemophilia C patient who underwent a arteriovenous fistula surgery. Perioperative management of the patient was planned in collaboration with nephrologist, anest- hetist and hematology specialist.Patient was discharged from day surgery unit without any bleeding problems. Hemophilia C patients have no spontaneus bleeding tendency, but they can have serio- us bleedings by there surgical procedures.Vascular surgical procedures can be done safely in this patients by infusion of plasma and adminstration of tranexamic acid.
