Özet: Isolated abdominal aortic dissection is a rare event, so the natural history is unknown. Abdominal pain is the most common presenting symptom, but a significant number of patients are asymptomatic. To improve the life expectancy of patients with acute abdominal aortic dissection, aggressive surgical or endovascular management is suggested. Here we present a case of abdominal aort dissection that we treated surgically in view of the data obtained from the literature about this rare disease.
