Özet: Objective: Splenic artery aneurysm is the most common visceral aneurysm. Our aim in this study was to provide surgical methods we used in the treatment of splenic artery aneurysms. Material and Methods: Splenic artery aneurysms of 12 patients were included in the study. Three patients underwent aneurysmectomy + splenectomy, 2 patients aneurysmectomy + end to end anas- tomosis and 1 patient autosplenectomy. Results: The mean age of the subjects was 61 years (range: 50-73).The mean diameter of the aneurysm was 3.1 cm (range: 1.4-5.5 cm). We did not encounter infection, hematoma, or mortality in any of our patients. Conclusion: Splenic artery aneurysm is a rare disorder. It has mortal complications, and early diagnosis is important. Splenectomy is the most commonly used treatment modality in the treatment of splenic artery aneurysms. However, splenectomy increases the risk of infection. The ideal method for the treatment of splenic artery ane- urysms is to preserve flow in splenic artery and disable circulation in the aneurysm.
