Özet: Acute lower extremity deep vein thrombosis (DVT) occurs due to obstruction of lar- ge veins by thrombus and its clinical findings are pain and swelling. If not treated, it can cause mor- bidity and mortality. Oral warfarin and/or low molecular weight heparin are applied in the traditional treatment. However recently, endovascular procedures have gained increasing popula- rity in deep venous thrombosis as well as all vascular pathologies. In the literature, various cathe- ters have been used for this purpose, but we could not find a DVT case that was treated with Cleaner Rotator thrombectomy catheter. In this case report, to our knowledge, we report for the first time, a 32-year-old male diagnosed with bilateral acute/sub-acute DVT, and treated successfully by en- dovascular intervention using Cleaner Rotator thrombectomy catheter with Actilyse (T-PA).
