Özet: Popliteal artery aneurysms comprise about 70-80% of all peripheral artery aneurysms. Symptoms range from intermittent claudication due to tibioperoneal trunk and anterior tiabial ar- tery embolization to critical limb ischemia. In this case study, our patient presented with left lower limb claudication and blue toe syndrome (purple toe syndrome). Although physical examination of the patient showed palpable bilateral lower limb pulses, there was a pulsatile mass in the left pop- liteal region associated with left foot cyanosis. Color Doppler ultrasonography and computerized to- mography angiography showed bilateral popliteal artery aneurysms. Bilateral popliteal artery bypass was performed via median approach using an 8 mm polytetrafluoroethylene graft with ligation of the proximal and distal ends of the aneurysmatic segment.
