Özet: ABSTRACT Isolated true aneurysms of the superficial femoral artery are rarely seen. In a 76-year-old man, isolated atherosclerotic aneurysm of the right superficial femoral artery was determined. Resection of the aneurysm and polytetrafluoroethene tube graft interposition were made as the surgical treatment. Diagnosis of atherosclerotic aneurysms located in superficial femoral artery is difficult in the asymptomatic early stages. When diagnosed, early surgical treatment may provide a good prognosis before development of complications such as rupture or distal ischemia.
