Özet: Since the first case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was reported at the end of 2019, this outbreak has spread to more than a million people around the world and become a pandemic. The group most affected by the outbreak with the highest mortality rate is elderly people with known vascular diseases or a high risk of developing vascular pathologies. It is evident that in this group of patients, there is a high risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) occurrence. In this current extraordinary era, management will be more challenging. In this article, we aimed to prepare a recommendation guide including the thromboprophylaxis and management of patients diagnosed with DVT during the COVID-19 outbreak.
