Anahtar Kelimeler:Exact test,Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium
Özet: The use of exact and c2 goodness-of-fit tests to control the hypothesis that a sample represents the population in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium are explained and compared with each other. These tests were applied for the loci with two, three and four alleles. The reliability of these tests depends on the sample size. The results showed that the exact and c2 goodness-of-fit tests provided almost the same results if the sample size is considerably large. The exact test is, however, more reliable than the c2 goodness-of-fit test when the sample size is small.
