Özet: Alfalfa, which is one of the most cultivated feed crops in our country and in the world and is known as the "queen of forage plants", has an important place in eliminating the need for high quality roughage. Alfalfa with high tolerance for different climate and soil conditions; it is also a favorite of forage plants in terms of its rich crude protein, vitamins and mineral sourcing. It has a rich content of pulp, which significantly damages the yield and nutritional value of alfalfa. It even causes the death of the plant when there is no struggle. In this study, scientific evaluations were made about the closer knowledge of the dodder, its harm in alfalfa and its control methods.
