Özet: The paper treats the issues of agent-based modelling of the agricultural practices of the ancient Celtic society in Central Europe. Our recent research was focused on modelling the population dynamics of the Celtic agglomeration. The output of the previous model was the time serie of available workforce and current consumption of the population. The model of agricultural practices enables experimenting with hypotheses related to intensive, extensive and mixed agricultural management applied by the population of the particular settlement. The experiments were made to learn more about the carrying capacity of the settlement, the land area managed by the population or the total cereals production.
