Özet: In this study of public space and private space are studied theoretically. Literature is reviewed in the axis of Habermas and Özbek. How and in which conditions public sphere separated from the private sphere were questioned. The place of these concepts in modern urban life is questioned. political debate and reflection of the two concepts are not argued in this article. The speration between public and private sphere is studied spatially. In modern times – in which our house is considered to be a special area- it has emphasized that this agreement is threatened by modern technologies
