Özet: Due to physical limitations and the psychological abuse of the prison regime lead to severe trauma and long-term psychological care for the consequences of incarceration for juveniles. In international documents where Turkey as a co-signed country, it is essential to protect the best interests of children in the principles that are to be followed in case of arrest or imprisonment of the children and in the provisions of the national legislation. In this context, if children are arrested and / or sentenced to imprisonment, alternative practices should be enacted rather than physical isolation
