Özet: It is argued that in the 19. Century, the process of capitalization has begun in European societies with the effects of industrialization and modernization. And in today’s world, capitalism is apparent in nearly all societies. When these societies are reviewed, it is observable that the Ottoman Empire is remote to capitalism in the foundation and development periods. While the Ottoman Manorial System(Tımar) disallows private property, the AhiOrder and the Guilds play a significant role in the development of work ethic. It is prominent that the Manorial System, the Ahi-Order, the Guilds and the economic applications are devoid of capitalistic influences but the effects of the industrial revolution in Europe caused capitalism to develop in the society. In our research, historical documents and records of the Ahi-Order, the Guild System, the Manorial System and the economic applications are reviewed in qualitive data analysis
