Özet: A change means a new case. Climate change is a new situation linked to the old. The beginning and end of the phenological period in fruit trees is related to climate. For this reason, any change in climate affects fruit growing and causes changes in production. The efficiency of fruit trees is directly proportional to the amount of flower buds and the fruit ratio. Along with climate change, the development stages of plants will change. It is known that the agricultural sector is a strategic sector and with the changing world trade order, large capital owners entered this sector and fruit garden investments were made in different parts of the world. Together with climate change, these investments will expand towards suitable areas for fruit growing. Climate change will have positive effects on fruit sector as well as negative effects. In fruit growing, the genetic characteristics of the variety may change with the change of ecological conditions along with climate change. Thus, the chilling times of plants, water needs, yields, qualities, harvest dates will change. Measures that can be taken to combat cold damage should be reported to farmers, together with training activities, depending on the size of the damage.
