Özet: In this study, it has been aimed to define the energy inputs and outputs used for canola production in Kırklareli province, and to determine the energy efficiency of the production. The direct and indirect energy inputs used in canola production have been defined through the surveys performed with the producers during 2012-2013 production years. The basic data such as the economic lives of the tools-machineries used in the production, work success, fuel-oil consumption, machine weights and fertilizers seed amounts have been taken from the survey and other studies, as well as various resources and catalogues. Following the evaluations, the energy input/output rate has been calculated as 17.12, specific energy value as 1.39 MJ/kg, net energy production as 91683.56 MJ/ha in canola production. Among the total energy inputs in canola production, it has been determined that the highest usage rate was in fuel-oil energy with 52.34%, fuel oil was followed by 21.32% machine energy, and 13.55% fertilizer energy, respectively.
