Özet: This study was carried out in five registered varieties of safflower (Balcı, Dinçer, Linas, Göktürk and Koç) and Bahri Dağdaş International Agricultural Research Institute experimental fields for 5 years (2014-2018). The experimental design was randomized complete block design with four replications. The aim of this study was to determine the effects of rainfall amount changes on seed yield, oil rate and oil yield of safflower cultivars in the years of research. In terms of all the properties studied, the difference between varieties according to the results of the analysis of variance over the values of five years was significant compared to 1%. Year x cultivar interaction, seed yield, oil ratio and oil yield were found significant differences compared to 1%. It has been determined that safflower varieties of precipitation in the annual rainfall and vegetation period significantly affect the yields. Precipitation amounts showed similar performance in seed yield in different years. The most stable varieties in terms of seed yield was the Göktürk. In particular, the yield of safflower varieties increased in sufficient rainfall conditions in vegetation period, and this increase was mostly in Koç and Göktürk varieties. In terms of seed yield, oil ratio and oil yield, Koç variety is the first of all years, and it is concluded that there is a variety that can be preferred by industrialists especially in terms of high oil content.
